Induction Perfection

Words can't really express how much having Leila meant to me and my family. From the very beginning, she poured her heart into us. This is our first baby and we had no idea what we were doing, what we wanted, what birth would look like for us. Leila made sure to keep us informed every step of the way - her prenatal visits were AMAZING and with each visit we felt less and less nervous. We were painting our "perfect" birth experience, and she was supportive of all of it. I hired her at 25 weeks and had loads of questions the whole time, she was always available to me and my partner and she knew exactly what we needed to hear. NOW, when it comes to the actual birth part - holy cow. Leila is a superwoman. I was induced at 37 weeks for cholestasis of pregnancy, not part of our plan. It was a hard, long 8 days in the hospital and she DID NOT LEAVE OUR SIDE. Talk about commitment to her clients. The process was emotional, scary, unexpected, my partner and I were disappointed and losing hope of a "beautiful birth story." She didn't let that happen, she kept our spirits high, our hearts full, our minds on track and was a constant reminder that "we are in control of this," that we make the choices, that we do in fact have options. She barely slept, and when she did it was quick power naps. She was a rock for my partner, myself and my family.

If this is your first or 10th baby, please do yourself and your family a favor and hire Leila as your doula. Best decision of my life.
